MYRTLE BEACH, SC — A Myrtle Beach man was arrested early Tuesday morning after officers responded to reports of an intoxicated individual creating a disturbance along South Kings Highway, according to police records.
Andrew William Russell, 24, was taken into custody in the 1100 block of South Kings Highway at approximately 1:26 a.m. Officers noted visible signs of impairment and alleged that Russell’s behavior posed a danger to himself or others.
Police listed three misdemeanor charges in the arrest record:
- ORD/Public Intoxication/Impairment
- Ordinance/Disorderly Conduct – PI, Dangerous to Self/Others
- A second count of Ordinance/Disorderly Conduct – PI, Dangerous to Self/Others
Shortly after the arrest, officers issued multiple citations at 1102 S. Kings Highway. The citations documented the same offenses: public intoxication/impairment and disorderly conduct posing danger to self or others.
