Bolivia, NC Brunswick County’s annual Fall Festival is set to return on Thursday, October 29, bringing an evening of seasonal fun, community connection, and kid‑friendly activities to the Brunswick County Government Complex. The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and remains free for all families.

This year’s festival continues a tradition that has grown steadily over the past decade, becoming one of the county’s most anticipated autumn gatherings. What began as a small community event has evolved into a large, county‑supported celebration that draws residents from Bolivia, Supply, Leland, and surrounding communities.

A Seasonal Celebration for All Ages

The festival will feature hayrides, a haunted trail, games, and plenty of candy for children. Families can also enjoy free hot dogs, a staple of the event that has become part of its identity. Volunteers from across the county help prepare and serve food, contributing to the festival’s welcoming atmosphere.

 Costume Contest Returns

A highlight of the evening is the costume contest, which includes multiple age categories. Children often arrive dressed as superheroes, princesses, animals, and classic Halloween characters, while adults frequently join in with creative or humorous costumes.

Officials remind attendees to leave your loved pets at  home for this event, a long‑standing safety policy due to the large crowds and children’s activities.

The Fall Festival has become a beloved autumn tradition, offering families a safe alternative to door‑to‑door trick‑or‑treating. County leaders say the event’s growth reflects the community’s desire for accessible, family‑centered activities.
