BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC — A 28‑year‑old man has been arrested after officers responded to a domestic violence call on Cedar Road Sunday morning.
According to the Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department, officers were dispatched on September 20, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m. for a reported domestic violence incident. Following an on‑scene investigation, James Corbin Seale of Boiling Spring Lakes was taken into custody.
Seale is charged with Felony Assault by Strangulation, Felony Second Degree Kidnapping, Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor Assault by Pointing a Gun, Misdemeanor Assault with a Deadly Weapon While a Minor Was Present, and Misdemeanor Communicating Threats.
He is currently being held at the Brunswick County Detention Center without bond.
The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department stated it remains committed to protecting victims of domestic violence and ensuring the safety of the community.
