SOUTHPORT, NC — The Southport Fire Department will host a fried catfish plate fundraiser on Friday, October 2, 2026, beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing until sold out.
The event will take place at the department’s station located at 1011 North Howe Street in Southport, with a convenient drive‑thru pickup option available for attendees.
Each plate costs $10.00 and includes a generous serving of fried catfish fillet, coleslaw, baked beans, and bread.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will directly benefit the Southport Fire Department’s community service initiatives.
The department’s motto, “Neighbors Helping Neighbors,” underscores the spirit of the event — combining good food with local support for first responders who serve the Southport area.
