Fair Bluff, NC — The Fair Bluff Chamber of Commerce announced in a public post that Treasurer Doug Besaw has resigned from the Chamber Board, noting the departure comes as Besaw shifts his focus toward several growing business and community projects.
In its statement, the Chamber expressed regret over the resignation and wished Besaw success as he continues expanding Nitro’s Soft Serve & Shakes, Nitro’s Pizza, and work on a new restaurant project. The post also referenced his ongoing involvement with Shizzy’s Wild‑Cat Rescue, highlighting the range of efforts he is currently balancing.
Chamber leadership thanked Besaw for his service on the board, saying he “will be missed” as routine financial duties are reassigned and the organization moves forward with upcoming initiatives.
