WHITEVILLE, NC — A Fair Bluff resident was formally served with a felony warrant Thursday afternoon while inside the local detention facility.
Ernest Levon McLeod, 46, was served at the Columbus County Detention Center at approximately 3:58 p.m. on Sept. 24 by Deputy Brandon Gore of the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office. McLeod faces a charge of being a habitual felon.
He remains booked in the county jail under no bond.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
