Bolton, NC — With the southern stretch of fall now officially underway, turkey‑shoot season is gearing up across the region and Buckhead Volunteer Fire & Rescue is among the first to lock in its dates. The department will host a three‑night community turkey shoot in November, offering families a classic fall evening of friendly competition, food, and fellowship.
The events are scheduled for November 7, November 14, and November 21, beginning at 6:00 p.m. each night at 6810 Old Lake Road in Bolton. Each round is $5.00 a shot, and participants will have the chance to win turkeys, hams, and meat bundles throughout the evening.
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase, including meals, hot chocolate, coffee, drinks, and candy for kids. Organizers say the turkey shoot is designed as a family‑friendly gathering that brings neighbors together for a relaxed fall night in the Buckhead community.
