Brunswick County Launches Fall Flu Vaccine Clinics

BOLIVIA, NC —  Brunswick County Health Services has opened its seasonal influenza vaccine clinics, offering ongoing weekday walk-ins in Bolivia and a series of regional pop-up events through October. No appointments are required.

Weekday Walk-In Clinic (Bolivia)

Beginning Monday, October 5, vaccinations are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. inside Building A at the Brunswick County Government Center – 25 Courthouse Drive NE. Staff can accommodate vehicle-side vaccinations for residents with mobility issues.

October Pop-Up Clinics

Regional indoor walk-in events are scheduled at the following locations:

  • Leland Area: Wednesday, October 7, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sandy Creek Town Hall located at 114 Sandy Creek Drive.

  • Supply Area: Thursday, October 8, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sharon Methodist Church located at 2030 Holden Beach Road SW.

  • Bolivia Area: Wednesday, October 21, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Odell Williamson Auditorium, Brunswick Community College located at 150 College Road NW.

For curbside assistance at pop-up sites, please bring someone to notify on-site staff for vehicle registration.

Attendees should bring a photo ID and insurance card. Standard shots are available for ages six months and older, with high-dose options for adults 65 and older. Regular flu vaccines are free for the uninsured. For more information, call 910-253-2250
