BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC — Local and regional investigators executing a search warrant on a Brunswick County residential property this week seized a sprawling mix of 52 firearms, an active commercial moonshine operation, and digital manufacturing equipment.

The inventory secured by authorities from the property includes: 52 Firearms: A substantial private cache spanning multiple makes and models. An Illegal Moonshine Still: An active, commercial-style distillation setup running outside state and federal tax frameworks. 3D Printers: Advanced fabrication hardware frequently examined for the production of un-serialized parts. An Artillery Shell: A military-grade explosive device that required specialized handling during the sweep.

Due to the hazardous mix of explosives, unauthorized alcohol production, and high-volume weapon possession, the operation required coordinated support beyond standard municipal resources.

Two local residents face multiple felony charges stemming from the investigation.
