Tuesday, October 6, 2026

• Dominique Samuel Battle, 24, of Elizabethtown, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for felony possession of a firearm by a felon and felony possession of marijuana (greater than 1/2 oz to 1 1/2 oz). Held with no bond.

• Christopher Deontoui Edwards, 33, of Tabor City, NC, was booked on a court writ. Released October 7.

• Stephanie Renee Fowler, 41, of Tabor City, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for felony breaking and/or entering, felony larceny after break/enter, conspiracy to commit building felony larceny, and possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine. Placed under a $10,000 secured bond.

• Tony Anthony Grimes Jr., 27, of Leland, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for misdemeanor failure to appear. Released by court order on a $1,000 secured bond.

• Jaron Jashawn Jackson, 19, of Nakina, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for misdemeanor assault on a female, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, and injury to personal property. Placed under a $1,000 unsecured bond.

• Jerome Jackson, 66, of Lumberton, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for an open container alcohol violation. Placed under a $1,000 secured bond and released the same day.

• Jaden Micheal Johnson, 20, of Whiteville, NC, was booked on a court writ.

• Regina Marie Koch, 25, of Whiteville, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for misdemeanor failure to appear ($1,000 secured bond) and non-IV-D non-support of a child ($782.50 purge amount).

• Stanley Edmund Noel, 40, of Whiteville, NC, was booked as a weekender serving a court sentence.

• Cortez Mikell Smith, 31, of Chadbourn, NC, was booked on a court writ. Released October 7.

• John Burvie Spivey Jr., 36, of Whiteville, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for felony breaking and/or entering, felony larceny after break/enter, felony conspiracy to commit building larceny, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Placed under a $75,000 secured bond.

Wednesday, October 7, 2026

• Jerry Ray Buckalew, 47, of Delco, NC, was booked by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation. Currently serving a sentence.

• Erick Lopez Garcia, 20, of Riegelwood, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for felony breaking and entering to terrorize/injure and misdemeanor secret peeping. Held with no bond.

• Tanner Chase Harper, 32, of Cerro Gordo, NC, was arrested by the NC State Highway Patrol for driving while impaired, failing to maintain lane control, and exceeding posted speed. Placed under a $15,000 secured bond.

• Douglas Fredrick Shaw, 45, of Winston-Salem, NC, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office for a probation violation. Held with no bond.
