Handgun Stolen from Residence on Clyde Norris Road

TABOR CITY — Deputies with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the theft of a firearm from a home in Tabor City.

Deputy Allison S. Pierce responded to a theft call at 1309 Clyde Norris Road at 3:00 PM on October 6. The victim, Daquan Jackson, reported that a Glock 20 handgun was stolen from the property.

The case has been classified as felony larceny and remains under active investigation.

All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
