CHADBOURN, NC — A Chadbourn man was taken into custody Wednesday evening on an outstanding felony fraud warrant originating out of New Hanover County.
Deputies with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Abner Abel Garcia, 23, of 201 Hunter Avenue, Chadbourn, at 6:04 p.m. on Oct. 21. Garcia was served with a warrant for Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense.
Garcia was processed into the Columbus County Detention Center under a $25,000.00 secured bond pending transfer or court proceedings in New Hanover County.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
