WHITEVILLE, N.C. — A 44-year-old Whiteville woman was taken into custody over the weekend after being served with multiple felony embezzlement charges.
Jamie Leigh Gray was arrested by Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies at 1:25 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. Official booking records show Gray faces multiple counts of felony larceny by employee.
Gray was processed into the county jail and subsequently released on an unsecured bond of $50,000.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
