Weekly 9:00 a.m. services at the Lake Waccamaw Sailing Club
LAKE WACCAMAW, NC — The Lakeside Ministry openned its 2026 season on Sunday, May 24, continuing a long‑running tradition of summer worship on the waterfront at the Lake Waccamaw Sailing Club, located at 3100 Canal Cove Road. Services are held each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and feature rotating preachers and singers from across the region.
This weekly gatherings take place outdoors on the club’s lakeside lawn, offering an open‑air setting with views of the water. Seating is arranged outside, with the covered pavilion available for shade or in case of light weather.
Joe Hickson closes this month on June 28 accompanied by Alma Galloway.
July brings a mix of returning and new voices.
Dave Heller leads the July 5 service with both preaching and music. Joshua Connor and Alma Galloway follow on July 12. Anthony Rowell and the New Mt. Zon Singers are scheduled for July 19, and Willard and Terri McPherson will serve together on July 26.
August opens with Jeremy Simmons preaching on August 2 and music from Connie Hinnant. Bryan Fowler and a Hallsboro Baptist singer take August 9, while Ed Wilkinson and Connie Hinnant return on August 16. Bradley Tatum and a Forest Lawn singer are set for August 23, and Randy Hunt and Connie Hinnant round out the month on August 30.
The 2026 season concludes on September 6 with Toby Neal delivering the message and music by Lauren Edmond.
The Lakeside Ministry invites residents and visitors to attend any of the weekly services throughout the summer.
