Shirley Goff Browder, born August 8th,1949, passed away peacefully at her home on August 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Horry County SC, Shirley was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend. She shared a lifetime of love with her soulmate, Earl “Chuck” Browder, creating a family that was the center of her life.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Earl “Chuck” Browder, her two sons, Ryland “Chuckie” Browder and wife, Holly, of Tabor City, NC, and Dale Browder and wife, Brittany, of Florida. Shirley was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren. Breanna Browder of Tabor City, NC, Sierra Browder of Randleman, NC, Diana Browder of Conway SC, Madison Browder of Conway SC, Amy Browder of Florida, and Austin Browder of Florida, and five great grandchildren.
She also leaves behind three cherished stepgrandchildren: Zachary Spivey, Brianna Williamson, and Jayden Williamson, all of Tabor City, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Janie Burton and Ausbon Goff, and her beloved sister, Joanne Grice.
Shirley will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family, her caring heart, and the many moments shared with those she loved. Her kindness, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Shirley will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends. A True Mom and Auntie!
Funeral service will be Monday at 4:00pm August 10, 2026 in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
