Myrtle Beach Man Charged With Malicious Injury to an Animal

MYRTLE BEACH, SC —  A 55‑year‑old man was arrested early Saturday morning on a misdemeanor charge involving malicious injury to an animal valued at $2,000.

According to Myrtle Beach Police Department records, Donald Paul Estep, a white male, age 55, was taken into custody at the 1800 block of South Ocean Boulevard at approximately 2:30 a.m. on August 22, 2026. The incident was reported at the same time.

Estep is charged with malicious injury to an animal $2,000 or less, a misdemeanor offense.

All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
