Five Assault Charges with Intent To Kill

Supply, NC — A Brunswick County teen is facing multiple felony charges after deputies say he fired several shots into an occupied vehicle in Supply, injuring at least one person.

Charge information lists 18‑year‑old  Rahiem Shakim Ford as facing five counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, one count for each person inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

The incident occurred on August 21 on Eastfield Lane near Little Macedonia Road, where Ford used a 10mm handgun to fire into a parked car. One victim sustained serious injuries, according to the charge information. No additional details about the circumstances leading up to the shooting have been released.

Ford was taken into custody and is being held without bond.

All individuals charged or cited are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Case details may change as the investigation continues and court proceedings move forward
