WHITEVILLE — A 46-year-old local woman was taken into custody by Columbus County deputies Wednesday afternoon on narcotics charges.
Monica Faye Nobles, 46, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office around 2:26 p.m. on Aug. 26 and booked into the Columbus County Detention Center under Booking ID 23552.
According to detention center records, Nobles faces two counts:

Felony possession of cocaine

Possession of drug paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)
Nobles remains held at the Columbus County Detention Center under a $1,000 secure bond. Sheriff’s officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to her arrest.
All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
