SOUTHPORT, N.C. — Brunswick Little Theatre will bring Ernest Thompson’s beloved stage classic On Golden Pond to life this fall, offering audiences a heartfelt story of family, aging, and reconciliation against the backdrop of a tranquil lakeside retreat.
Directed by Ken Greenman, the production runs October 8 – 25, 2026, at the community theatre’s Southport venue. The play follows Norman and Ethel Thayer as they spend their summer at their longtime vacation home on Golden Pond, where generational tensions and tender humor unfold when their daughter and grandson come to visit.
