Whiteville Woman Charged With Resisting Officer, Damaging Property

WHITEVILLE — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joequasha Titeannah Vereen, 28, early Sunday morning on two misdemeanor charges following an incident reported in the Whiteville area.

Vereen was booked at 5:34 a.m. on September 6, 2026 under Booking ID 89352. According to the sheriff’s office, she is charged with Resisting a Public Officer and Injury to Personal Property. No additional incident narrative was released.

Bond for Vereen was set at $1,000.
