WHITEVILLE, NC — A South Carolina resident was booked into the county detention center on Friday morning for resisting law enforcement.
Dustin William East, 39, of 2103 Heritage Road, Loris, SC, was arrested at 11:18 a.m. by Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies.
East was charged with misdemeanor resisting a public officer and placed under a $500 secured bond.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
