WHITEVILLE, NC — A Whiteville man was taken into custody on Monday afternoon on an active property crime warrant.
John Herbert McCumbee Jr., 48, of 3201 Pleasant Plain Church Road, Whiteville, was arrested by deputies at 12:04 p.m. on September 21.
McCumbee was charged with misdemeanor larceny and processed into the Columbus County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
