WHITEVILLE, NC — An Elizabethtown resident was jailed early Tuesday morning after being picked up on outstanding traffic and court warrants originating in Bladen County.
Jeffery Scott Carter, 62, of 1033 Cane Loop Road, Elizabethtown, was arrested at 3:39 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22.
Carter was charged with driving while license revoked (non-impaired), displaying a fictitious or altered title/registration tag, and two counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor out of Bladen County. He was held under a total secured bond of $4,250.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
