Residents seeking food assistance must register by Oct. 12 to receive supplies during the upcoming appointment-only distribution in Whiteville.
WHITEVILLE, NC — The ACP Southeastern Resource & Logistics Center is reminding residents that the deadline to register for its upcoming food pantry distribution is fast approaching.
According to the organization, registration will close at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12. Food assistance will be distributed by appointment only on Saturday, October 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The distribution will take place at 5487 Silver Spoon Road, Building B, in Whiteville.
Residents interested in participating must register in advance through the ACP Project website. Organizers noted that food pickup will not be available without a scheduled appointment.
The food pantry program is supported through partnerships that include the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina and the North Carolina Community Foundation.
