Angela Kay Arnold 76, of Oxford, N.C. passed on October 5, 2026 in Columbus County. She was born on June 27, 1950 in Henderson, K.Y. The daughter of the late Charles Pinkston and Coach Paul L. Powell and Eva Ward Powell.
She is survived by brothers, James Pinkston and wife Tanya of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Brent Pinkston and wife Diane of Olsmar, F.L.; sister, Deelane Reavis and husband Daniel of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sister in laws, Angela Arnold Knightdale, Sherlynn Powell of Silver City, N.C.; brother in law, Jeff Arnold and wife Kelly of Danville, V.A.; step mother, Kay Day; nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Arnold; step sister, Mary Frances Pope; step brother, Dr. Paul L. Powell, Jr.; and her parents.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Peacock Funeral Home’s Chapel with Rev. Brian Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Peacock’s Columbus Memorial Park.
