Doris L. Lynn 92, of Whiteville, N.C. passed on October 5, 2026 in Columbus county. She was born on July 6, 1934 in Newark, New Jersey. The daughter of the late George Redlich and Gladys Miller Redlich.
She is survived by a daughters, Debbie Lynn Holt and husband Rocky of Green Sea, Leslie Lynn Norris and husband Victor of New Hope; son, James Gregory Lynn of Whiteville; daughter in law, Penny Lynn of Bladenboro; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Bachinger and husband Aaron, Brandon Lynn and wife Brittany, Holly Lynn Goodwin and husband Britton, Kelsey Lynn Walters and husband Hunter, Bradley Holt and wife Mallory, Stacy King and husband Eddie, Justin Holt and wife Kayla, Lauren Lynn Kelly and husband John Patrick Kelly II, Ginger Thompson, Tiffany Norris; and 20 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Carl Lynn; a son, George Kenneth Swift Lynn “Kenny”; sister, Charlynne Florence Merritt; brothers, Walter “Sonny” Redlich, James “Red” Redlich; sister, Edith Eicher; granddaughters, Brittany Lynn, Megan Lynn.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday October 8, 2026 at Peacock funeral Home with Rev. David Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the Pridgen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday October 7, 2026 at Peacock Funeral Home.
