WHITEVILLE, NC — A South Carolina man remains behind bars in Columbus County after being arrested Tuesday on multiple felony component theft charges.
Dustin William East, 39, of Loris, SC, was arrested by Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies at 11:25 a.m. on Oct. 13.
East faces two felony counts of larceny/remove/destroy/deactivate a component, along with two misdemeanor counts of larceny and one count of misdemeanor injury to personal property. He was placed under a $25,000 secured bond at the Columbus County Detention Center.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
