LELAND, NC — The Town of Leland has announced several upcoming public meetings scheduled for next week to address municipal planning and major local parks and recreation development projects.
All scheduled sessions will take place in person at Leland Town Hall, located at 102 Town Hall Drive.
The public schedule begins on Tuesday, October 27, at 6:00 p.m., when the Leland Planning Board convenes for its regular meeting to review town development and zoning business.
Activities continue on Thursday, October 29, as the Leland Town Council and the Parks & Recreation Board host two joint special meetings back-to-back.
The first joint session will begin at 6 p.m. to review and discuss the town’s Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan, a key guiding document for future municipal greenspaces, recreational facilities, and public programming.
Immediately following at 7:30 p.m., the Town Council and Parks & Recreation Board will hold a second joint special meeting centered on the Loblolly Park Master Plan Project. Community members attending the 7:30 p.m. session will have an opportunity to offer public comments regarding the park project directly to town leadership.
