LONGS, SC — The Carolina Baptist Association is preparing to bring hundreds of middle and high school students together next month for a high‑energy evening of worship, games, and fellowship. The “Recharged Youth Rally” is scheduled for September 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Living Water Baptist Church on SC‑9 in Longs, a growing community in northern Horry County.
The rally is designed to give students a chance to reconnect with friends, strengthen their faith, and enjoy a festival‑style lineup of activities.
The event will feature laser skeet shooting, a rock climbing wall, inflatables, a photo booth, and a variety of games including pickleball, cornhole, 9‑Square, volleyball, a gaga pit, and a dunk tank. Free prizes will be available throughout the evening, and students can expect crowd favorites such as pizza, corn dogs, funnel cakes, and other concessions.
The Anderson University Worship Band will lead music during the rally, followed by a message from guest speaker Adam Ventures of the Carolina Baptist Collegiate Ministry. The association says the theme for the night — “Recharged. Renewed. Ready.” — reflects its goal of helping students refocus spiritually as they settle into the new school year.
A PlayStation 5 will be given away as the event’s grand prize.
Registration is open now through August 24. For questions or registration assistance, organizers can be reached by call or text at 843.340.8922
