BOLIVIA, NC — St. John Missionary Baptist Church is inviting the community to an evening of encouragement and renewal during its upcoming Celebrate Recovery event on Friday, September 18. The program, themed “You Are Not Alone,” focuses on freedom, healing, restoration, and new beginnings through faith.
Dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m., followed by the service at 5:30 p.m.
The event draws inspiration from Psalm 147:3 (NIV) “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
The evening will include live music centered on worship and rejoicing, along with heartfelt testimonies from individuals who have experienced personal transformation. Dr. Sharonda Davis will preside over the program, Jwantana Gardner Frink will share her lived testimony, and Pastor Raymond Wood will serve as the featured speaker.
