COLUMBUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INCIDENT REPORT: SEPTEMBER 11 – 14, 2026

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following reported incidents and offenses between September 11, 2026, and September 14, 2026:

Friday, Sept. 11, 2026

• Larceny & Property Damage: 25805 E. Andrew Jackson Hwy., Delco (8:50 AM) – Men and Women United reported the theft of two catalytic converters valued at $400 and damage to a Ford F-150 windshield valued at $300.

• Larceny of a Motor Vehicle: 341 Freeman Rd., Bolton (10:08 AM) – A white Honda Civic valued at $30,000 was reported stolen.

• Larceny: N.C. 87 and N.C. 11, Riegelwood (10:29 AM) – Our Family Trucking reported the theft of a 53-foot Great Dane 18-wheeler trailer valued at $1,200.

• Breaking, Entering & Larceny: 1402 Chair Factory Rd., Nakina (4:47 PM) – Three window air conditioner units valued at $450 were stolen from a residence.

• Communicating Threats: 1000 Long Corner Rd., Whiteville (6:50 PM) – A 39-year-old male reported receiving threats from a 56-year-old male suspect.

• Second Degree Trespass & Simple Assault: 86 Stanley Circle Dr., Whiteville (10:15 PM) – A 66-year-old female reported an assault and trespassing involving a 44-year-old female suspect.

Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026

• Violation of DVPO: 11 Wisteria Trl., Tabor City (10:41 AM) – A 38-year-old female reported a Domestic Violence Protective Order violation involving a 46-year-old male suspect.

• Warrant Service: Exit 228 WBL NC 242 / 7148 Andrew Jackson Hwy., Cerro Gordo (12:35 PM) – Deputies executed a warrant on a 37-year-old female.

• Damage to Property: 1163 Hwy. 701 N. Bypass, Whiteville (5:41 PM) – Damage to cinder blocks valued at $50 was reported.

• Misdemeanor Larceny: 1069 Carolina Rd., Tabor City (6:14 PM) – A larceny was reported involving a 49-year-old male suspect.

Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026

• Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile: 462 N. Ward Town Rd., Whiteville (12:52 AM) – A 53-year-old female suspect was cited in connection with an incident involving a 14-year-old juvenile.

• Larceny of Store Goods: Dollar General, 77 Seven Creeks Hwy., Whiteville (8:11 AM) – Theft of four bottles of Dove body wash and one can of Dove spray deodorant valued at $45 involving a 36-year-old male suspect.

• Warrant Service: 26535 Andrew Jackson Hwy., Delco (9:36 AM) – Deputies served a warrant on a 23-year-old male.

• Assault on a Female: 167 Page Mill Rd., Cerro Gordo (2:01 PM) – A 42-year-old female reported an assault involving a blunt object (club/hammer) by a 50-year-old male suspect.

Monday, Sept. 14, 2026

• Warrant Service / OFA: 803 Washington St., Whiteville (9:00 AM) – Deputies executed an order for arrest on a 23-year-old male.

• Credit Card Fraud: 139 Ranch Valley Rd., Whiteville (9:53 AM) – A victim reported fraudulent credit card activity totaling $780 involving a 39-year-old female suspect.

• Larceny of a Firearm: Law Enforcement Center, 803 Washington St., Whiteville (10:56 AM) – Theft of a .22 long barrel Winchester rifle valued at $250 was reported.

• Misdemeanor Larceny: Dollar General, 77 Seven Creeks Hwy., Whiteville (10:27 AM) – Theft of Hanes t-shirts and multiple Dove deodorant products valued at $54.50 involving a 36-year-old male suspect.

• Injury to Personal Property: 265 Gillard Rd., Chadbourn (11:39 AM) – Damage to the rear glass of a Mazda vehicle was reported.

All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
