WHITEVILLE, NC — A Gastonia man is behind bars in Columbus County after law enforcement executed outstanding warrants for missing multiple court appearances.
Avion Julian Anderson, 23, of Graywood Drive in Gastonia, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, Sept. 11, around 6:40 p.m. Anderson faces six separate misdemeanor counts of Failure to Appear.
He was booked into the Columbus County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond as he awaits trial.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
