WHITEVILLE, NC — A Whiteville woman is facing criminal charges following a weekend incident involving a teenager.
Angela Michelle Guin, 53, of Ward Town Road, was arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office early Sunday morning, Sept. 13. According to incident logs, deputies responded to North Ward Town Road around 12:50 a.m. regarding an incident involving a 14-year-old male juvenile.
It is alleged that she allowed a 14-year-old male juvenile access to vodka, and she allowed the youth to get drunk in her presence as well.
Guin was formally charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile and placed in the county jail under a $1,500 secured bond.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
