Violent Domestic Break-In in Chadbourn Leads to Arrest

CHADBOURN, NC — A Chadbourn man is being held without bond following a violent domestic break-in on Tuesday morning.

Jason Henry, 31, of North Wilson Street in Chadbourn, was arrested by Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies at 11:43 a.m. on Sept. 15. According to incident reports, deputies responded after Henry allegedly broke into a residence to terrorize or injure an occupant, assaulted a female, and damaged property.

Henry faces charges of Felony Breaking and Entering to Terrorize or Injure, Assault on a Female, Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence, and Property Damage. He remains in custody at the county jail with no bond allowed.

All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
