COLUMBUS COUNTY ARREST REPORT: SEPTEMBER 11–18, 2026

The following arrest reports were provided by the Columbus County Detention Center covering booking logs from September 11 through September 18, 2026. 

Friday, September 11, 2026

• Avion Julian Anderson, 23, of Gastonia, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor (6 counts). Bond set at $25,000 secured.

• Elizabeth Penny Berry, 53, of Hallsboro, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor (2 counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Total bond set at $51,000 secured.

• John Casey Bordeaux, 30, of Delco, NC, was booked serving a court sentence (released Sept. 13).

• Christopher Allen McPherson, 41, of Whiteville, NC, was booked serving a court sentence (released Sept. 13).

• Johnny Lee Willis, 32, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Bond set at $50,000 secured.

Saturday, September 12, 2026

• Jeffrey Elton Batten, 32, of Lumberton, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor out of Columbus County and failure to appear on a misdemeanor out of Robeson County. Total bond set at $2,500 secured.

• Donnie Shane Coleman, 49, of Tabor City, NC, was booked for misdemeanor larceny ($5,000 secured bond) and a parole violation (no bond).

• Keyozia Antoinia Gore, 27, of Chadbourn, NC, was booked for disorderly conduct. Bond set at $5,000 secured.

• LeNa Sadea McMillian, 37, of Riegelwood, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor out of Brunswick County. Bond set at $1,500 secured.

• Cortez Mikell Smith, 31, of Chadbourn, NC, was booked on a court writ.

Sunday, September 13, 2026

• Cuuran James Bedell, 23, of Lumberton, NC, was booked for speeding. Bond set at $500 secured.

• Miranda Ventura Eleazar, 38, of Troutdale, VA, was booked for unauthorized use of red or blue lights and no operator’s license out of Alleghany County. Bond set at $2,500 unsecured.

• Jesse Monroe Godwin, 50, of Cerro Gordo, NC, was booked for assault on a female. Held under no bond.

• Angela Michelle Guin, 53, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Bond set at $1,500 secured.

• Dion Anthony Johnson, 34, of Chadbourn, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor (2 counts). Bond set at $10,000 secured.

Monday, September 14, 2026

• Aaron Dameion Clark, 36, of Bladenboro, NC, was booked for obtaining property by false pretenses and misdemeanor larceny (2 counts). Held under no bond.

• Kelby Wilson Dippel, 34, of Cerro Gordo, NC, was booked for communicating threats. Bond set at $500 secured.

• Unique Dontia Lesesne, 35, of Elizabethtown, NC, was booked for assault on a female. Held under no bond.

• Otha Kevin Phelps, 63, of Lake Waccamaw, NC, was booked for misdemeanor stalking. Bond set at $2,500 secured.

• Waylon Dewayne Ward, 22, of Bladenboro, NC, was booked for a misdemeanor probation violation. Bond set at $25,000 secured.

• Keoni Mauricia White, 33, of Bolton, NC, was booked for trafficking opium or heroin (2 counts), felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substances, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of Schedule II controlled substances, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule IV controlled substances (2 counts), simple possession of Schedule III controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting a public officer, and failure to appear on a misdemeanor out of Guilford County. Total bond set at $90,100 secured.

• Wendell Wilson, 66, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for larceny of a motor vehicle ($25,000 secured bond) and an extradition/fugitive warrant from another state (no bond).

Tuesday, September 15, 2026

• Alexander Allen Cain, 29, of Delco, NC, was booked for a misdemeanor probation violation. Bond set at $25,000 secured.

• Jason Henry, 31, of Chadbourn, NC, was booked for felony breaking and entering to terrorize/injure, assault on a female, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, and property damage. Held under no bond.

• Tara Suzanne Jett, 47, of Cerro Gordo, NC, was booked for violation of a domestic violence protection order. Held under no bond.

• Jamez Anthony Jones, 29, of High Point, NC, was booked on a court writ.

• James Adrain Logan, 61, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, maintaining a place for controlled substances, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Total bond set at $60,000 secured.

Thursday, September 17, 2026

• Laura Elizabeth Burns, 36, of New Hanover, NC, was booked on charges out of New Hanover County for financial card theft, financial card fraud (3 counts), and failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Bond set at $793 secured.

• William Robert Smith Jr., 47, of Delco, NC, was booked on charges including attempted first-degree murder, assault on a law enforcement officer with a firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, and a high felony probation violation. Held under no bond.

Friday, September 18, 2026

• Materrius Fuqwan Brown, 33, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for a high felony probation violation. Bond set at $15,000 secured.

• Dustin William East, 39, of Loris, SC, was booked for resisting a public officer. Bond set at $500 secured.

• Brandon A. Laws, 37, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for a probation violation serving sentence.

• Almon Devantee Rondell Phillips, 33, of Tabor City, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor (2 counts). Bond set at $1,000 secured.

• Gary Bruce Pinkston, 42, of Chadbourn, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor out of New Hanover County. Bond set at $200 secured.
