Committee sessions, a Planning Commission workshop, and the Library Board meeting are all open to the public
Horry County, SC — Horry County Government has four public meetings scheduled for the week of September 22–24, with sessions taking place at the Government and Justice Center in Conway and at the Horry County Memorial Library’s administration building. All meetings listed are open to the public.
The Administration Committee will meet Tuesday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. in Multipurpose Room B/C at the Government and Justice Center, located at 1301 Second Avenue in Conway. The agenda is available through the county’s online calendar.
One hour later, at 3:00 p.m., the Horry County Council Transportation Committee will convene in the County Council Committee Room at the same facility. That agenda is also posted online for public review.
The Planning Commission will hold a workshop on Thursday, September 24 at 3:00 p.m. in the Government and Justice Center’s Multipurpose Room. Planning workshops are open to the public and provide an opportunity for residents to follow upcoming development discussions and procedural updates.
Later that afternoon, the Library Board of Trustees will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the Horry County Memorial Library Administration Building, 1008 5th Avenue in Conway. The meeting will take place in the library’s designated meeting room.
Meetings of the County Council, Council Committees, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Planning Commission are also broadcast on the Horry County Government website, the county’s YouTube channel, and Government Access Television on Spectrum/Time Warner channel 1301 or HTC channel 14.
