Multiple emergency agencies responded to a reported structure fire along Happy Home Church Road and NC 905
NAKINA, NC — Emergency crews remain on the scene of a structure fire with reported injuries in the area of Happy Home Church Road and NC Highway 905 near Nakina.
According to Nakina Fire & Rescue, firefighters were dispatched alongside Tabor City Paramedic QRV 21 and additional automatic mutual aid agencies to battle the blaze and provide medical assistance.
Officials confirmed that one patient was airlifted from the scene for further medical treatment. No information regarding the person’s condition has been released at this time.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage have not yet been made public.
