COLUMBUS COUNTY ARREST REPORT: SEPTEMBER 21–22, 2026

The following booking details were compiled from official Columbus County Detention Center media reports. 

Monday, September 21, 2026

• Brooklyn Baldwin, 31, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor ($2,500 secured bond) and resisting a public officer ($2,500 secured bond).

• Charles Alan Bowen, 35, of Bolton, NC, was booked for misdemeanor assault on a female (no bond) and failure to appear on a misdemeanor ($1,000 secured bond).

• Lloyd Devon Duncan, 44, of Clarendon, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor ($500 secured bond). Released Sept. 21.

• Galyna Fishman, 68, of Nichols, SC, was booked for operating a vehicle with no insurance ($2,500 secured bond), speeding, driving with a canceled/revoked/suspended certification tag, allowing a motor vehicle to be driven with no registration, driving while license revoked (not impaired revocation), failure to carry a registration card, and failure to appear on a misdemeanor ($1,600 secured bond).

• Hubert Lennon McClure, 43, of Tabor City, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor (5 counts). Total secured bond set at $100.

• John Herbert McCumbee Jr., 48, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for misdemeanor larceny ($25,000 secured bond).

• Irvin E. Nunez, 32, of Hallsboro, NC, was booked for felony larceny after breaking/entering ($75,000 secured bond), felony possession of a stolen vehicle, felony breaking and entering, felony larceny of a motor vehicle, and driving while license revoked (not impaired revocation).

• Christopher Marcus-Dale Stackhouse, 43, of Cerro Gordo, NC, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor (2 counts) ($5,000 secured bond).

• Earl James Whitman Jr., 43, of Whiteville, NC, was booked for attempted first-degree murder (2 counts; no bond), assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury (no bond), and property damage (no bond).

Tuesday, September 22, 2026

• Jeffery Scott Carter, 62, of Elizabethtown, NC, was booked for driving while license revoked (not impaired revocation) ($250 secured bond), displaying a fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag, and failure to appear on a misdemeanor out of Bladen County (2 counts; $4,000 total secured bond).

• Samantha Lockany, 40, of Bladenboro, NC, was booked for felony possession of cocaine ($5,000 secured bond), felony possession of fentanyl ($50,000 secured bond), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
