WHITEVILLE, NC — The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles will close its Whiteville license office for approximately six months as renovation work gets underway.
The office will shut down at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, marking the final day of service at the current site before construction begins.
During the closure, the DMV will operate a temporary office nearby, close to American Legion Post 137 at 76 Legion Drive. Officials have not yet released operating hours or additional details for the temporary location.
The main office is expected to reopen once renovation work is complete.
