Horry County, SC — The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has closed the bridge over Todd Swamp on McNeil Chapel Road/Highway 348.
Lanes are closed in both directions from Sandpiper Road (S-26-1035) to SC 905. Detours have been established to direct motorists around the closure area.
Drivers traveling through the corridor should expect changes to normal traffic patterns and allow additional travel time while using the designated detour routes. Motorists are encouraged to follow posted signs and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
