WHITEVILLE, N.C. — A 36-year-old woman was cited by sheriff’s deputies late Monday night following a narcotics investigation in Whiteville.
Deputy Nicholas J. Barone encountered a Toyota Camry near the 800 block of Sycamore Lane at approximately 10:53 p.m. on Nov. 2. During the stop, officers seized three grams of marijuana.
The driver was formally charged with simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance.
