Hazel Lee Andrews Pigott age 97, of Tabor City, NC, died Monday, August 17, 2026. Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late George Kendall Andrews and Ethel Todd Andrews.
She is survived by one daughter, Geraldine Stanley and husband Kenny of Tabor City, NC; two sisters, Bonnie Miller of Tabor City, NC, Wanda Thompson of Tabor City, NC; one granddaughter, Michelle Coleman and husband Bryon of Greenville, NC; six great-grandchildren, Sidney Ogburn and husband David of Jacksonville, FL, Fisher Coleman of Whiteville, NC, Everett Blackmon of Rocklin, CA, Jude Stanley of Whiteville, NC, Elizabeth Jackson and husband Wesley of Raleigh, NC, Riley Britt of Whiteville, NC; and one great-great-grandchild, Jace Jackson of Raleigh, NC; and Amy Stanley (Jay’s wife) of Whiteville, NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel “Danny” Warren Pigott; one son, Larry Pigott; two grandsons, Scott Blackmon, Jay Stanley; one brother, GK Andrews; two sisters, Estalene York, and Estelle Smith.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in Forest Lawn Baptist Church, Tabor City, NC.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 11:00AM in Forest Lawn Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
