WHITEVILLE, NC — A four‑night community outreach event known as the ENCOUNTER Whiteville Crusade is set for October 4–7 at Legion Stadium, offering free admission and an open invitation to residents across Columbus County and surrounding communities.
Organizers describe the gathering as a multi‑night program built around worship, testimonies, music, and messages of hope.
The event begins nightly at 6:30 p.m. and is open to individuals regardless of church background. Organizers say the goal is to create a welcoming environment for anyone seeking encouragement or connection, whether they regularly attend a local congregation, have been away from church for years, or are exploring faith for the first time.
Speakers and music for this year’s crusade will feature several guest speakers delivering messages throughout the four nights. Evangelist Brian Lecroy will be among the primary speakers, sharing faith‑focused messages aimed at encouragement and renewal. Glenn Walters will also speak during the event, offering nightly messages centered on hope and spiritual restoration. Minister Matthew Ward will contribute additional preaching, focusing on themes of personal growth and transformation.
Musical worship will be led by Jordan McCullough, who will provide music throughout the crusade and anchor the worship portion of each evening.
The ENCOUNTER Whiteville Crusade will take place at Legion Stadium, located at 1323 Chadbourn Avenue. Admission is free, and organizers encourage families, friends, and neighbors to attend together for evenings of encouragement, connection, and hope.
