A Cerro Gordo man faces a $1 million secured bond following his arrest Monday evening, leading recent bookings at the Columbus County Detention Center.
Between September 28 and September 29, local law enforcement agencies processed ten individuals on charges ranging from high-bond criminal justice system violations and felony drug offenses to impaired driving and false reporting.

Tammy Herring Clewis, 56, of Whiteville, was booked for making a false report of theft of a motor vehicle. She was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

Timothy Ray Edwards, 48, of Tabor City, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Bond was set at $1,500 secured.

Cedric L. Brooks, 56, of Bladenboro, was booked on two counts of IV-D non-support of a child. Total bond was set at $5,934.38 secured.

Abron Torrell Walker, 39, of Whiteville, was booked for communicating threats and second-degree trespass. Bond was set at $1,500 secured.

Nasir Shipman, 24, of Clarkton, was booked for failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Bond was set at $3,000 secured.

Jesse Monroe Godwin, 50, of Cerro Gordo, was booked for a CJIN violation. Bond was set at $1,000,000 secured.

Munther Esa, 25, of Brooklyn, NY, was booked for driving while impaired, reckless driving with wanton disregard, speeding, driving left of center, and failure to wear a seat belt. Bond was set at $2,500 secured.

Sean Stanley Shipman, 28, of Whiteville, was booked for indecent exposure. He was released on a $500 unsecured bond.

Jamorion Pridgen, 18, of Whiteville, was booked for felony possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana and carrying a concealed gun. Bond was set at $10,000 secured.
