Phyllis Ann Oswald Vaughan, 84, of Boiling Spring Lakes, NC, went to be home with her Lord and Savior August 22, 2026.
Phyllis was born August 8, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY; daughter of the late Martin Henry and Catherine Connors Oswald. She was a previous member of Ladies of the Moose in Southport. Phyllis was a very giving and always helping others. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and always stayed involved in the church activities.
Phyllis married James Randolph Vaughan, Jr., May 23, 1962. He preceded her in death, 2002.
She is survived by her sons, James Michael Vaughan and his wife Annette of Huger, SC and Daniel Henry Vaughan of Boiling Spring Lakes, NC; five grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild with one on the way.
Phyllis is preceded in death by eight siblings. Services will be held at a later date at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Southport, NC.
