TABOR CITY — Deputy Matthew Ivey conducted a vehicle stop on Short Cut Road involving a Nissan Rogue driven by Montorius S. Vereen, 36, of Loris, SC. During the inspection, Deputy Ivey located 1.9 grams of cocaine, 8.0 grams of marijuana, and various items of drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Vereen was arrested and charged with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of Schedule VI, and possession of drug and marijuana paraphernalia under a $10,000 secured bond.
