Sharon Williams, of Whiteville, passed away suddenly during the late hours of September 1, 2026.
Sharon was born on September 27, 1966 to the late Herman Curry Williams and Janet Williams. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kim Williams.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Worthington Funeral Home with burial to follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery; Pastor Terry Dove will officiate.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (2:00-3:00)
Survivors include her husband, Gary Ray Munce Jr.; children, Sharease Williams, Terrance Williams, Anthony Williams, Larry Williams, and Derek Williams; brothers, Herman, William and Thomas Williams; host of loving grandchildren; Mother-in-law, Linda H Williams; Sister-in-law Ashley Cheek ( Lorenzo); Sisters-in-law Misty Munce, Wendy Williams, brother-In-Law, Charles Munce; 12 nieces and nephews and five great- nieces and nephews; cousin, AB.
