Debra Lynn Smith Wise, age 67, passed away at her home in Bolton on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Debra was born on August 24, 1959 in New Hanover County to the late Nancy Allen Smith and to Thomas Millard Smith. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by brothers; Thomas Edward Smith and Jeffrey Alan Smith.
After graduating high school, Debra trained to be a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked with the healthcare profession for several years.
Left to cherish her memory are her son: Michael Brandon Wise of Delco, father; Thomas Millard Smith of Holden Beach, sister; Karen Smith Bullard of Riegelwood, and two aunts; Mary Butler and Ann Scott both of Leland.
In order to honor Debra’s last requests, there will be no services held.
