WHITEVILLE, NC — A Lee County resident was booked into the Columbus County Detention Center on Saturday afternoon on multiple out-of-county charges.
Derik Trovelle Crump, 35, of 50 BayBerry Lane, Sanford, was arrested by Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies at 2:46 p.m. on September 19.
According to detention logs, Crump was picked up on an outstanding Order for Arrest out of Lee County as well as an active probation violation warrant originating from New Hanover County.
Crump was charged with:

Misdemeanor failure to appear / Order for Arrest (Lee County)

Probation violation (New Hanover County)
He received a $268 cash bond for the Lee County order for arrest and was held without bond on the probation violation.
