CERRO GORDO, NC — A Cerro Gordo resident was taken into custody by Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies on Thursday, September 10, following a domestic incident.
Tracy Washington, 41, of 54 Coleman Cemetery Road, Cerro Gordo, was arrested at 12:58 p.m..
According to arrest records, Washington was charged with:

Misdemeanor assault on a female

Misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
Washington was placed under a $25,000 unsecured bond and was released from the Columbus County Detention Center on September 16.
